About Me
Edward Gerrits is a Dutch engineer living in France, registered as Artisan in the Gros Oeuvre de Bâtiment. As each project is unique, it needs the in-depth attention and detailing to get it right the first time. His knowledge and experiences is expanding all the time by doing researches and development in his very well equipped ateliers of Metal, Wood and Ornamental Plasterworks. The combination of using hands & brains in a wide range of traditional craftsmanship is the best method of regaining the old grandeur of your beloved property. Mr. Gerrits is doing extensive Restorations and Renovations on his own Château, giving him first-hand experience of the results of his works. Almost anything that may be needed for internal or external Restorations or a Re-Editions can either be found or produced/created, whilst the prices can be surprisingly reasonable. I specialise in Monumental and Period Buildings & Estates, with a background in engineering, project management and building.

How do I Work

Being situated in the Centre, Loiret (45), the location of services heavily depends on the size of the awarded project. As a rule of thumb, each project involving Period Buildings will have many exceptions which needs a good involvement and interaction between the owner and the management of the project. Summarizing Progress Reports are the standard way of working. In the exceptional situations, you'll be given photographs and/or drawings, with an explanation of the situation and outlines of the various resolutions and its consequences.
